Teeth Whitening
A brighter and more balanced smile appearance.
Teeth whitening is an aesthetic procedure that aims to move color changes in enamel and dentin to a lighter and more balanced shade. Coffee, tea, smoking, aging and some structural discolorations can darken tooth color over time.
Before whitening, gum health, cavities, existing fillings and sensitivity are evaluated. In-office whitening is performed in the clinic under controlled conditions, while at-home protocols can be continued with custom trays according to the dentist's instructions.
Whitening affects natural tooth tissue; it does not change the color of crowns, veneers or fillings. If visible restorations are present, aesthetic planning may need to be reassessed after whitening.
