Oral Surgery
Safe planning for oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery.
Oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery covers tooth extractions, impacted wisdom teeth, implant surgery, jaw cysts, soft-tissue procedures and surgical interventions in the jaw region. Before each procedure, detailed planning is performed with clinical examination and necessary imaging.
The scope of surgical treatment is determined by the position of the tooth, surrounding bone tissue, relation to anatomical structures such as nerves and sinuses, and the patient's general health. Local anesthesia, sedation or general anesthesia may be considered when appropriate.
Post-operative care, prescribed medication, nutrition and oral-hygiene instructions are important for healing. The aim is to complete the surgical need safely, in a controlled way and as comfortably as possible.
